Ashby Kelly Archive Collection, Railroad History, Papers, Publications and Photographs Date Range: 20th Century 4 Boxes Administrative History Collection compiled by Ashby Kelly, railway historian, enthusiast, and former railroad worker. Custodial History Ashby Kelly worked for the railroad in Bowie and surrounding areas and acquired railroad history, papers, photographs, publications and donated them to the City of Bowie Museums. He was also employed by the City of Bowie Museums and worked at the Bowie Railroad Museum until 2007. Scope and Content Extensive documents, publications & photographs related to the history of the railroad in Bowie, Washington D.C. and Maryland. Notes Collection should be culled for possible accessioning & or deaccessioning.
